I love Rituel de Fille cosmetics and I've had my eye on the Black Locust lip sheer for a while. For those of you unfamiliar with the lip sheers from Rituel de Fille, it's all in the name, they are SHEER, but not so sheer that you can barely see the colour. No the beauty of these is that they layer wonderfully, allowing you to choose how intense you want your colour. Black Locust is a delightful light grey colour, and the texture...ohhhh the texture! It feels like a lip balm, and doesn't dry out your lips in the slightest. Word of warning though, they won't last long if you're eating greasy food.

Smells like lavender! Almost like a tinted lip balm. This is an easy way to perk up your look without major commitment ;)

I’ve been struggling trying to find lip color. I typically wear tinted balm which I love but need something with a little more pigment and stay. I tried this because the quiz selected it for me and it was absolutely perfect on the first try. Brava!

Love the color and the feel.

I love both of the rituel de fille lipsticks I’ve gotten so far. The result is very natural but you get the perfect subtle color with them. It makes it seem like my lips are just naturally this perfect, unique shade.

The color is beautiful but not as highly pigmented as I had hoped. I also find the product a bit drying.

This stuff feels amazing- smooth like butter and does not dry my lips out. It’s sheer enough to apply without a mirror just like chapstick, but leaves some color to brighten up my face :)

These are not lipstick size they are free trial size that is being sold. Buy elsewhere! Get a real size lipstick for your money!

I was pleasantly surprised by this brand and lipstick. So happy to find a clean line that is pigmented, comes in a variety of shades, is nourishing, and long lasting. Love the shade Rue, will definitely purchase more.

(Bloodroot) I am thrilled that I found this lipstick. (I recently lost it and immediately ordered a second) It is buildable, from a subtle orange tint to a bold orange-red that really complements warm-toned skin (including fair skin, like my own). It is also smooth and doesn’t dry out my lips, but it is important to put on lip balm first to help the lipstick go on smoothly.
