I wanted to love this product so much, but it does crease like crazy. I picked up during the last Sephora Rouge sale. I've tried to apply this product in various ways. Primed with my UD primer, layered with a setting powder, used it alone, and I just cannot get it to not crease. My skin is quite dry around my eyes, so I was hoping it would just sit nicely. Unfortunately, it's been a challenge to make it work. I love the color - it's such a nice subtle shade of cooper and on my bronzed skin, it just looks like a have a soft spotlight on my eyes. It's really nice on my natural make-up days, but I just have to run my fingers over it to blend it out from time to time. The pigment in the areas that didn't crease still looked great even after a 10 hour day. If you don't mind ...
My recent purchase and new favorite is "Myth" which is a much cooler toned antique gold than shown in the swatches. It's really flattering, though and I've used it alone and layered it with different cream or powder products with great results. It feels soothing and looks great on the lids.
I LOVE this! I picked mine up from madewell and am so glad I did! I purchased the solar color and it’s beautifully pigmented. This is super buildable— you can apply just a little for an extra shine or apply with a heavier hand for a super glam look! The metallic finish is super flattering and youthful.
This is a natural, coconut oil based beauty product. It is not creaseless like many chemical cream eyeshadow formulas. For me, this is a PLUS, as I would rather have a natural product. However, with a light, neutral wash of color the creasing isn't even that noticeable and ads a lived-in look to the makeup. building up the product to get true to pan color will not work. This is for understated, minimalist makeup looks, not bright bold looks. So, as long as you know that before purchasing, I think you will not be disappointed. I have utopia and wore it all through Dec 2018 for holiday parties. Products are all multi-taskers, so I use it on my cheekbones as well. Very festive and sparkly, but still subtle.
I have this eye polish in Lucky and it's an amazing, dewy cream with a warm golden shimmer. As pretty as the colour is, it can crease really badly or disappear throughout the day. I have tried it with both NARS and MAC paint pot primers and the oily product tends to 'melt' the primer - though I have found it lasts way better on top of the MAC primer. I'm constantly having to touch up my eyes throughout the day to avoid deep and scary creases.
